Eréne started her journey as a Chi Nei Tsang practitioner in 1998. In Portland, Oregon she apprenticed Eduardo Chavarria, a Bio-Energetic massage therapist, psychotherapist and Mayan Shaman. Eduardo taught Eréne the importance of visceral manipulation in accessing and reading emotional holding patterns in the body. In 2000, she began to study with Gilles Marin, founder and director of the Chi Nei Tsang Institute of Berkeley, California and author of Healing From Within with Chi Nei Tsang and Five Elements, Six Conditions. She has since received her Advanced Practitioner and Educator certificate from the institute. Eréne teaches ongoing classes in San Francisco, California and occasionally workshops in Portland, Oregon where she attended Portland State University. She continues to study with and assist G. Marin. Her work has been enhanced and inspired by other great teachers such as Master Mantak Chia author of, Chi Nei Tsang, Chi Nei Tsang II and Awaken Healing Light of the Tao and Stephen T. Chang author of The Great Tao and other works. Eréne received her diploma in Master Herbal Studies with the Australasian College of Health Sciences in Portland, Oregon in 2008.

In 2003, Eréne added Spino-Mandibular Equilibration® to her healing repertoire, a ground-breaking therapy that combines working with the jaw in conjunction with CNT. In addition to CNT and SME®, Eréne has begun a new treatment method, inspired by a CNT treatment using Applied Chi Kung on the Spine(ACKS“), incorporating a hot herbal compress and addressing the whole body through the spinal column.

A large part of Eréne's practice is inspired by Esoteric Taoist meditation, which plays an active role in her life and work. Erene maintains a daily practice in the Esoteric Taoist meditations to give herself and her clients the highest level of energy required to promote the healing process. In addition to eastern philosophy, the physical body is also a great inspiration as Eréne's love of dance, specifically Flamenco music and dance have followed and enhanced her passion for life all through her studies.

In her spare time, Eréne loves to travel, dance, study, read, meditate, ride horses, sleep, laugh, and play with her Jack Russell Terrier, Fortune who is a constant reminder that patience is truly an emotion one must cultivate in order to achieve.

She currently resides in San Francisco, California with her husband Christopher and her dog, Fortune. She hopes to have a home someday where it's very peaceful and slightly warmer.
